Meet the Buttercups Health Champion of the Year!

Claire Goldsmith Buttercups Training Health Champion of the Year 2018Claire Goldsmith from Tesco Pharmacy in Wokingham is an inspirational individual whose efforts won her the title of Buttercups Health Champion of the Year. Claire and her team have undertaken a wide number of public health initiatives not only in Wokingham but also throughout Berkshire. Claire's pharmacy has also co-ordinated coffee mornings on local council estates to discuss health concerns, visited local mosques to raise awareness of meningitis, supported local people with dementia and even offered health checks and flu jabs to the Police Federation of England and Wales.

Claire is a shining example of the positive impact Health Champions and Healthy Living Pharmacies can have on their communities. She is pictured here being presented her award by Richard Burton from the Royal Society of Public Health.
